Objective:
Nurse will promote and restore patients’ health. Nurse will work with a variety of patients and will provide direct nursing care along with physical or psychological support when required.
Responsibilities:
- Give the patient the needed medical care as well as welcoming and proceed with the primary examination.
- Identify patients’ care requirements, focus on their needs and act on them.
- Monitor and record patient’s condition and document the provided care services
- Proceed routine medical practices
- Dispense medications and treatments as per the doctor prescription
- Run medical care for the emergency cases
- Provide medical assistance for the doctor as well as facilitate the medical services for the patient.
- Prepare equipment or instruments for physician or assist with procedures.
- Afford psychological support for the patient in addition to responding to the patient’s family
- Plan and control clinic inventory and report this to MCM, Weekly or Monthly Inventory reporting.
- Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment,sanitizing surfaces, change bed sheets etc.) to maintain sanitary conditions in the consultation room.
- Takes vital signs, and recording symptoms and prepares report or notifies designated personnel of unexpected reactions.
- Medical equipment/ Biomedical maintenance requests and follow up with facility management.
- Follow up the implementation of infection control perquisites, procedures, compliance, and policies, as well the sterilization process/ cycle and its supplies.
- Supporting patients throughout all aspects of the client journey including but not limited to laboratory referrals and radiology referrals, also guiding patients with pricing enquiries (escorting them to a CCC or getting the required information from a CCC and conveying this information) Clinic nurse to report any problems or potential issues that they observe directly.
- Managing the patient flow through the physician’s rooms for both physical and teleconsultations, including contacting clients when there are delays from the physician side.
- Monitoring of doctor delays and cancellations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field of study
- Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare
- Caring and compassionate nature
- Excellent teamwork and people skills
- Observational skills
- Ability to use initiative
- Ability to deal with emotionally charged and pressured situations
- Verbal and written communication skills
